The temperature of the tank should be kept at (7.2-7.9) and the water should be slightly acidic with a ph of (6.8-7.5) the tank must have subdued lighting and a good tight lid as the Red-Striped killie is an excellent jumper.
Feeding
Killifish will eat all types of foods like good quality flakes and live/frozen food like brine shrimp, tubifex worms, insect larvae and Drosophila. They are very slow feeders so it is important to keep an eye on them at feed time to make sure they get their fair share.
